Modern Slavery
The Probation Institute wishes to help to extend the information available for practitioners about modern slavery.
Following meetings with our Professional Discussion Group and with our recent Trainees Event we are pleased to offer a short Briefing on Modern Slavery, with thanks to Philippa Southwell from Southwell and Partners. This Briefing looks at the type of offences that might indicate modern slavery, the National Referral Mechanism and the role of Probation Practitioners.
