Ground-breaking research report sheds light on women’s experiences of crime and gambling-related harms
Addressing the important, often neglected subject of women's experience of gambling - the report "Holding it all together and picking up the pieces: Women’s experiences of gambling and crime" has been produced by the Commission on Crime and Gambling Related Harms set up by the Howard League. The report reveals how a lack of awareness among agencies at each stage of the criminal justice system – from police stations to prisons – left them without the support they needed.
