Event: Research and Probation

 
 
 

HMPPS and HM Inspectorate of Probation are hosting an event aimed at academics interested in probation practice with a focus on facilitating effective engagement, establishing clear channels of communication and ensuring we maximise the opportunities for research. 

The event will include contributions by Amy Rees, Director General Wales, Probation and Youth Custody and Justin Russell, Chief Inspector of Probation.

The event will cover current areas of research and evaluation into probation practice; access to data, access to information to inform research applications; discussion on the challenges faced by academics in researching probation.  With speakers from HMPPS, Ministry of Justice and HM Inspectorate of Probation. 

The event takes place from 9.30am – 1.30pm on Thursday 3 March 2022. This event will be held online via Teams.
