Angus is a career probation officer with over forty years’ service. He is a respected senior leader with an enduring interest in the needs of vulnerable people in contact with the criminal justice system, in particular, those with mental health difficulties.

Achievements include:-

· steering a significant culture change in the approach to offenders with mental health difficulties by mainstreaming awareness within Probation and with external partners

· successfully implementing the pan-London Offender Personality Disorder Pathway commissioning the pan-London specialist Forensic MH Practitioner Service

· receiving a prestigious Butler Trust award for excellence in mental health work with offenders.
