Probation Institute becomes a Charitable Incorporated Organisation
We are delighted to announce that the Charity Commission has accepted our application to become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation - a "CIO". The Charity Commission agrees that our objectives are for the public benefit.
This means that we are able to apply for funding from wider sources and purposes. It also means that we shall need to change our constitution. More of this later.
If you are not yet a member of the Probation Institute perhaps this is the encouragement that will prompt you to join. We hope you will take this opportunity to join us.
