Martin Jones CBE announced as His Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Probation

Newly appointed as the Chief Inspector of Probation, Martin Jones, former Chief Executive of the Parole Board was one who warned that prohibiting probation officers from "making recommendations as to whether prisoners are suitable for release could produce a “lack of clarity” in the evidence available to panels".
