HMI Probation publishes two significant reports
HMI Probation has published two very significant reports on the recent "Inspection of the role of the senior probation officer and operational management structures" and an Insights publication from this thematic inspection.
The inspection report indicates some urgent resourcing and oversight challenges.
Both reports include description of the new work in Probation in Wales on the "Human Factors Model" which "acknowledges that we all make mistakes and that we must learn from these", as well as "understanding better why things go right most of the time.”
