Richard Garside at the Centre for Justice Studies is writing about the lack of long term thinking in criminal justice; and rethinking strategies which repeat failure.
Also interesting to read is the insert in Richard's piece from Whitney Iles et al on "Performance Activism” - in which we see “very little change on the ground”, while we are left “feeling good about our efforts”.
